Welcome to Me

My name is Katie Sayers and I am a freelance writer, novice editor, and have an overall enthusiasm for story telling.

Originally from the Bay Area, I moved to the East Coast in 2021, am currently residing in Washington DC, and plan to move to Charlotte NC in a few months.

As of 2024 I’ve read over 300 books starting with my first book I checked out once I learned what a library was to the last book I read, or rather reread, A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas. I am most well acquainted with romance, fantasy, and young adult fiction, but am open to editing other genres.

Despite what my friends who often endure my long book rants might think, I do have hobbies besides reading. My current other hobbies include wrangling sourdough, teaching myself to use a sad excuse of a sewing machine that I bought off of Facebook Marketplace for $20, and playing tennis now that the weather is warm.
